Board of Governors (BOG)

The BOG is a group of elected etopps enthusiasts that work closely with the Event Director to run the various activities that occur the week of the convention.

Each year a new etopps Board of Governors (BOG) is elected by etopps convention attendees. The BOG is ballot elected based on a simple vote count. Anyone can be a candidate for the BOG.

Anyone can volunteer be a candidate for the Board of Governors.

Being on the BOG does require you to be available to help with the organization of the event including site location, securing speakers and other duties. Since the event relies on the etopps members to support it, this position is a very important part of the eCon process. A few conference calls and managing one of the econ events is typically the primary duty of a BOG member.

The Board of Governors varies between 3 and 5 members. This year we have five members:
